White Chip

This beautiful white limestone chip comes from the middle of the North Island and has been a favourite with Aucklanders for many years. It continues to be a very popular stone. It looks great and is usually used in a contrasting role.

There is a misconception that it will turn green in the winter months. This will not happen unless it is placed in a spot where it gets very little or no natural sunlight. But fear not if you have an area like this where you want to put White Chip. If it did start to change colour slightly due to a lack of sunlight. A quick spray with white vinegar using your garden sprayer will neutralize it's alkaline qualities and bring it back to white.

Common Uses

Garden Cover (over weedmat) which provides great contrast to so many other garden colours.
